A 68-year-old man is dead after a two vehicle collision on the Veterans Memorial Highway yesterday. It happened around 10 a.m. near Roaches Line. Two vehicles were extensively damaged in the collision, while a third was stopped at the scene.
The occupants of both vehicles were taken to hospital in St. John’s where the man died from injuries. His passenger was also injured and although they were serious, they are not believed to be life-threatening. The driver of the other damaged vehicle was also injured.
Some crimes can now be reported online to the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary
