A 37 year-old man has been arrested for fleeing from Harbour Grace RCMP.

It happened in the community just before 8:00 Friday night. RCMP say he was driving 120 km/hr in a 50 km/hr zone. Police stopped chasing the vehicle for public safety reasons and it was a residential area. RCMP say the man owed $7000 in fines. They seized the vehicle he was driving, which police say was uninsured and not registered.
