The Corner Brook native says she will continue to serve her constituents until that time comes as there is always work to be done.
“Nanny, I don’t want you to go”…..those were the words that led to an end for a ten year political career. Long Range Mountains MP Gudie Hutchings says she decided during the Christmas break she will not be seeking re-election. Hutchings has been a Liberal her whole life and says if she was ten years younger, she would think twice. The Corner Brook native says she will continue to serve her constituents until that time comes as there is always work to be done. Meanwhile, Hutchings says she did give an answer to her grandaughter and can now watch them both grow up. She was elected three times in a row as the MP for Long Range Mountains.
