    Local teen band Saxy drops into Bayfm to share a sample of their music with saxophone vocals

    Members consist of Landon Moise on saxophone, Alexie Genest on drums, Gavin Maidment, lead guitar,  and Kyle Wells on base.

    It was a rocking day the Bayfm studios yesterday, as the band “Saxy” dropped in for a chat with host Terry Boland. The band Saxy is a group of teens from Corner Brook Regional High school. Members consist of Landon Moise on saxophone, Alexie Genest on drums, Gavin Maidment, lead guitar,  and Kyle Wells on base. Genest says vocals are done with a sax. The band started when these high school students were in grade 8. Saxy recently won second place in the Titans have Talent show.
