Louise Pedersen is known for leadership, dedication, and commitment to her peers and community.
It’s Early Childhood Educators Week and a student from the Corner Brook Campus of the College of the North Atlantic Student has received a scholarship. This is a time to celebrate how ECEs help shape the minds and lives of young children. There are currently 2,025 early childhood educators working in this province and one name that could be on that list soon is Louise Pedersen. At CNA, she is known for leadership, dedication, and commitment to her peers and community. Pederson has organized class fundraisers, coordinated study sessions, edited classmates’ work, and shared study materials. She also volunteers with Canadian Parents for French and Enactus. Pederson’s passion shows with her goal of one day opening her own early learning centre with a focus on outdoor play and nature-based learning.
