Local MP thanks Justin Trudeau for the work they've accomplished

    Gudie Hutchings says she’s proud of the things that have been accomplished through working with the PM, like the child care benefit that puts 44 million every year into her district of Long Range Mountains.

    ACOA, as well as Rural Economic Development Minister Gudie Hutchings says government is still in action. The House of Commons has been prorogued until March to allow time to find a new leader for the Liberal Party after the Prime Minister’s resignation yesterday. Hutchings says she’s proud of the things that have been accomplished through working with the PM, like the child care benefit that puts 44 million every year into her district of Long Range Mountains. She also highlighted rate mitigation,, the Atlantic Accord, reopening Veterans Affairs office in Corner Brook.  Hutchings says government needed a reset but cabinet and committees are still working. MP’s will be back in their seats in Ottawa on March 24th.
