Little Rapids residential development plans in government's hands

    The undertaking is adjacent to the Humber River, a scheduled salmon river. Construction would include the installation of a well and septic system and a new driveway and landscaping.

    Plans to construct a residential development in Little Rapids are making the way through the environmental assessment process.  The project was registered with government on Friday, and includes plans to construct a single dwelling on a 1.5-hectare residential lot at 389 Marble Drive in the community of Little Rapids. The undertaking is adjacent to the Humber River, a scheduled salmon river. Construction would include the installation of a well and septic system and a new driveway and landscaping. The deadline for public comment is June 6th and the minister’s decision is due by June 16th.  A description of the project can be found on the government website.
