It’s a big day for Kippens native, 5 time Paralympian Katarina Roxon as she is part of the opening ceremonies at the 2024 Paralympics Games in Paris. She is one of the flag bearers for Team Canada, along with wheelchair athlete Patrick Anderson, of Fergus, Ontario.  On an early morning call to Bayfm this morning, she tells Lenny Benoit, it hasn’t quite sunk in yet. Roxon says Team Canada is a group of amazing athletes. Opening ceremonies will start at 3:30 this afternoon. Roxon competes on Friday in the 100-meter breaststroke.
