Acting Seniors Advocate Pamela Dawe says this helps everyone rethink the stereotypes about aging, and that age does not define ability, purpose, or possibility.
June is Seniors’ Month and the Office of the Seniors Advocate has launched their third annual social media campaign. The theme is “Think Again.” Acting Seniors Advocate Pamela Dawe says this helps everyone rethink the stereotypes about aging, and that age does not define ability, purpose, or possibility.
Dawe says they want to hear stories and see photos from seniors showing the many positive sides of aging. Meanwhile, Dawe says they get a lot of calls from seniors with issues that are far ranging like healthcare and making ends meet. For more information on the campaign, go to seniorsadvocatenl.ca
