Government has created a job opening for a Manager of Physician relations. This is a move to improve relationships with the Newfoundland and Labrador Medical Association (NLMA). NLMA members, including doctors, clinics, and physician groups, often want more information surrounding decisions made by theMedical Care Plan (MCP.) The new manager will provide members with timely information, clear reasons on why claims were adjusted or rejected, and guidance on how to avoid future billing issues.
