It’s a sure sign summer is on the way and that means planning is underway for Corner Brook’s annual Jigs and Wheels festival. Councillor Pam Keeping says the committee has applied for a noise bylaw exemption for an event on West Street. At Monday’s public meeting council also added an amendment to include following days in case the event is rained out. Meanwhile, council also approved ATV access to some streets during the Jigs and Wheels Festival. This year’s Jigs and Wheels Festival will take place July 26th to August 4th.
