Over 1300 men’s research projects have been funded to date around the world.

November is many things to many people but this year is the 20th anniversary for Movember in Canada, which is part of a global movement supporting men’s health. Todd Minerson is the Country Director at Movember Canada. He says each year, tens of thousands of men join this fundraiser by growing a mustache  or beard among other things. Minerson says work started with funding research and support services for men suffering from prostate cancer, and expanded to testicular cancer, mental health suicide prevention and recently adapted the approach to be a broad range of men’s health issues. Over 1300 men’s research projects have been funded to date around the world. Minerson says in June, 2025 they will launch the first real face of men ‘s health report for Canada.
