There are many Newfoundlanders living in Ft. McMurray, and for most, home is always on their mind. The jobsites have those familiar accents and people are enjoying a Jiggs Dinner with friends. That deep sense of connection to the home they left behind is why India beer is bringing a one-night-only celebration to Northern Alberta this evening. Trina Warr is the Assistant Brand Marketing Manager with India Beer. She says they will be at a local bar in Fort McMurray and this event will include discounted India Beer, East Coast-inspired food specials, exclusive merchandise and a chance to win a return flight for two back to Newfoundland and Labrador. Warr says there’s been a lot of interest in tonight’s event. India Beer has been brewed here since 1893.
