Ice falls onto the TCH near Corner Brook New Years Day

    RNC were called out to the Trans Canada Highway between Murphy Square turn-off and Riverside Drive turn-off.

    There were some tense moments for motorists near Corner Brook on New Years Day. Shortly before 8 pm on Wednesday,, January 1st,  RNC were called out to the Trans Canada Highway between Murphy Square turn-off and Riverside Drive turn-off. Ice had fallen onto the highway from steep embankments. The ice was cleared from the roadway, and no incident had occurred.
