A piece of equipment on fire on the highway meant the road was closed.
A piece of heavy equipment that caught fire Sunday night forced the closure of Route 430, also known as the Viking Trail.
Deer Lake RCMP and fire crews responded to the blaze, which occured near Bonne Bay Pond, about 23km north of Deer Lake.
