On this day 75 years ago, Newfoundlanders and Labradorians woke up as Canadian citizens. As part of this anniversary, government is making plans for celebrations, including free admission to all residents who are 75 years of age and older to all Provincial Historic Sites. As well, the Confederation 75 Celebration Grant Program will support communities and heritage/Indigenous organizations in planning their own activities.
