Gros Morne Coffee Roasters has been awarded just over $41 thousand to support business growth and client development. After starting out with a small one kilogram roaster in 2017, the company upgraded to add a five kilogram roaster in 2018 and then a 12 kilogram roaster in 2021. By using a variety of ethically sourced, organically grown beans and roasting in small batches at their headquarters in Deer Lake, Gros Morne Coffee Roasters are able to provide customers with unique flavours from around the world. The company’s coffee is now available in more than 100 locations throughout Newfoundland and Labrador, as well as at locations in Ontario, Quebec and Nova Scotia, and it hopes to break into additional export markets.
