Grants available for projects focused on addictions and positive mental health

    Projects must align with Suicide Prevention, Life Promotion, Prevention of alcohol and other substance use related harms, and Community Partnerships to promote positive mental health and resilience.

    Government grants of up to $10,000 are available under the Community Addictions Prevention and Mental Health Promotion Grant Program. This supports projects by individuals, community groups, and non-profit organizations that focus on prevention of addictions and promotion of positive mental health. Projects must align with Suicide Prevention, Life Promotion, Prevention of alcohol and other substance use related harms, and Community Partnerships to promote positive mental health and resilience. The deadline for applications is September 30th. 

     More information on the Community Addictions Prevention and Mental Health Promotion Grant Program and applications can be accessed on the Department of Health and Community Services website.
