After 6 years of laying idle, the province’s 5th water bomber will be repaired and put back into service. Opposition Forestry shadow Pleaman Forsey says the bomber has been out of service since it was damaged in 2018. He says with 4 of 7 forest fires in Labrador now burning out of control, and an unprecedented extreme heat wave hitting the island, these are ideal conditions for a major forest fire event. To report a wildfire dial 1-866-709-FIRE (3743)
