Government invests $12 million into the Climate Change Challenge Fund

    It is a competitive, application-based grant program open to the private sector, not-for profit organizations, public sector bodies or boards, municipal governments, and Indigenous organizations to undertake greenhouse gas emission reduction projects.

    Government has announced a $12-million investment in the province’s Climate Change Challenge Fund. It is a competitive, application-based grant program open to the private sector, not-for profit organizations, public sector bodies or boards, municipal governments, and Indigenous organizations to undertake greenhouse gas emission reduction projects. The deadline for applications is Friday, April 11th, and projects must be completed no later than December 31, 2028, to be eligible. Complete eligibility and application guidelines are available at gov.nl.ca.
