Government is giving Instrumar Limited $100,000 to support business growth and client development. Industry Minister Andrew Parsons says Instrumar is a Newfoundland and Labrador-founded engineering and product development company. He says the company's proprietary Instrumar Fiber Sensor measures the quality of synthetic fibers such as polyester and nylon as they are being produced, and the company is poised to introduce its distinctive and pioneering products to more audiences worldwide. The company will invest more than $220,000 into this project. Parsons says they do expect to see a return and Instrumar Ltd. has been here for about 40 years. He says the tech sector employs about 8,000 people and is projected to employ more than 10,000 within the next few years.
