Newfound Family Drama Company is at it again with this year’s productions of “Going to the Chapel.” It’s a night of dinner theatre with a delightful three course meal served up with a side of comedy and entertainment. Lauren Gillingham has been performing for four seasons now and joined Bayfm’s Lenny Benoit to talk about what goes on behind the scenes. She says she has been a performer since a very young age. Gillingham says it can be a lot to handle food service, singing and theatre at the same time. She is from central Newfoundland, but has been a vibrant part of the Corner Brook arts scene for seven years. She made her debut with Camber Arts in 2023 and finished out her Theatre program at Grenfell with a run of performances as Emma in “People, Places, and Things”.
