The PUB made an extraordinary adjustment to maximum fuel prices overnight.
The cost of all types of gas is down again today by up to 8.2 cents. Yesterday, the Public Utilities Board dropped the price of gas by 0.8 cents a litre. All other fuels remain the same. Although the next meeting of the PUB isn’t until May 11, they continue to monitor the daily benchmark prices for motor and heating fuels, and can intervene at any time to make price changes.
