Firearms charges laid in the capital city

    The investigation led police to a Simonov SKS 1945 semi-automatic rifle and rounds. 

    St.John’s RNC have charged two people with multiple firearms offences. Police tried to stop a vehicle in the Livingstone Street area on July 26th. The driver took off on foot and a female passenger was released. The investigation led police to a Simonov SKS 1945 semi-automatic rifle and rounds.  As a result, on Tuesday 46-year-old Dale Whalen and 36-year-old Jaclyn Manning are now facing 14 firearms charges.
