    Fertilizer funding for farmers

    Farmers have more time to apply for help with historically high prices

    Farmers have a little more time to apply for financial assistance for land development or fertilizer purchased before April 1st. The Agrifoods Assistance Program deadline has been extended to June 5th. Farmers asked for help with historically high fertilizer prices. Funding will be based on program demand and fertilizer purchases will be reimbursed at up to 50 percent.
