Immigration spaces have now doubled in this province.
Minister Gerry Byrne says the population of this province has increased by 12 thousand in the last year, largely due to immigrants. He says the agreement with the Federal Government had to change, raising the number of spaces from 1500 to over 3000 newcomers to our province each year. Minister Byrne says immigrants are also bringing skills, like health care.
