There’s an open house this evening for anyone interested in finding out what’s happening at the Growing Dome in Corner Brook. For two years now, residents and motorists have noticed the greenhouse across from the mill. Katie Temple is the Executive of the Western Environment Centre. She says this year was a pilot year with the Association for New Canadians and 20 ambassadors have been growing produce. Temple says they’ll be looking to work with other groups in the future. She says there will be samples to taste at tonight’s event. Tonight’s open house at the Growing Dome takes place from 6 to 8 p.m.
