The Environment and Natural Development department with Qalipu First Nations is looking over recent research into the Pine Marten. On bayfm’s Qalipt Today, Director Ian Sullivan spoke about something they just finished called “the Long Range Biodiversity Project,” which dealt with some species at risk.
Sullivan says more research focused on the “Aquatic Connectivity project assessing rivers going through culverts to ensure salmon and trout would have continuous passage.
