It started out as parents trying to ease the pain of their infant’s skin condition and now, government is investing in their business. East Coast Glow was formed in 2011 by Karen and Roger Dewling in Clarenville. This after they set out on a path to finding a solution for their tiny daughter. Today, they have a plant-based skincare company offering 80 products which use wild ingredients infused with iceberg water. Under the Business Development Support Program, government is giving them $69,000 that will help broaden the company’s market reach beyond Newfoundland and Labrador.
