Deer Lake hosts first ever Women’s Day Networking breakfast

    Economic development officer Gloria Fields says it was nice to network together with everyone who is at different stages in their careers and businesses, and they can all learn from each other.

    It’s the first time the town of Deer Lake has ever hosted such an event and yesterday’s Women’s Day Networking breakfast was in such demand, they had to add more seats. Economic development officer Gloria Fields says it was nice to network together with everyone who is at different stages in their careers and businesses, and they can all learn from each other. She says they’re looking at making this an annual event. International Women’s Day is March 8th.
