Danu, the Irish Folk Sensations provincial tour, kicks off in Corner Brook tonight

    Member Benny McCarthy says they haven’t been here for about twenty years.

    The Irish band Danu is set to take to the stage at the Arts and Culture Centre in Corner Brook tonight. Member Benny McCarthy says they haven’t been here for about twenty years. McCarthy says Danu is a traditional Irish band, 7 piece, nearing 30 years old. The show gets underway 7:30 at the ACC and Corner Brook is the first stop on this Irish Folk Sensations provincial tour.
