Yesterday was a double cruise ship day at the Port of Corner Brook, and this weekend, thousands of passengers will dock for a day in the city. The Carnival Pride will spend the day in port today and leave around 5 p.m. Mayor Jim Parsons says this is just a warm up to this weekend when close to 9,000 passenger and crew arrive on Saturday. He says there will be vendors and music all throughout the day. On Saturday, the Sky Princess is due to arrive at 8a.m. and depart at 10 p.m., and the Norweigian Jade will dock at 11a.m. and depart at 4 p.m.
