Corner Brook team back from a World Pool Tournament in Las Vegas

    John Andrews says they played 9-ball and there were 582 teams, while 785 teams played in the 8-ball tournament.

    He’s retired from being a chiropractor in Corner Brook, and nowadays, John Andrews likes to try his hand at pool. Andrews says he played pool when he was younger but since his retirement, he’s been involved with a pool league for about a year now. They meet at Dooley’s and Union Station on a regular basis. Andrews says their team, Just For Laughs,  won the chance to go to the World Pool Championships in Las Vegas. Andrews says the 8 member team all play at different levels, with 9 being the highest and the Corner Brook team played very well. Andrews says they played 9-ball and there were 582 teams, while 785 teams played in the 8-ball tournament.
