Since Osmond has retired from competing she has returned to participate in the annual Canadian tour group, Stars on Ice.
The Corner Brook Silver Blades Figure Skating Club is celebrating their 60th anniversary in style tomorrow night. The annual Ice Show is taking place at the Civic Centre and will feature Olympic and World champion figure skater Kaetlyn Osmond. She started skating at the age of two in Marystown and she feels thrilled that they named the local arena after her.
Since Osmond has retired from competing she has returned to participate in the annual Canadian tour group, Stars on Ice. She says it’s more enjoyable and less stress than competition. Osmond has teamed up with National Medalist & Disney Ice Performer Alexandra Palin in Corner Brook today for a special seminar with local skaters. She’s been skating with her since the age of 5. Doors open at the Civic Centre tomorrow night at 6 p.m.
