The season opener gets underway this weekend in Massey Drive with a 5 kilometers run at the top of Massey Drive at Tippings Pond. Race Director Trina Simms says they’re always looking for people to help out. Sunday’s run gets underway at 11am.

Port Saunders RCMP nab motorcyclist who was speeding, stunting, and also fled from police
When police tried to speak with the driver, he fled in the opposite direction. In the interest of public safety, RCMP did not pursue the vehicle but started patrolling the Hawkes Bay and Port Saunders areas.
