On Bayfm with Lenny Benoit this morning, Mayor Linda Chaisson says the city will restore damaged lawns back to what they were.

Corner Brook residents have until the end of the month to report any damage done to lawns by snow clearing. At last night’s public meeting, Deputy Mayor Pam Keeping spoke about the city’s policy on damage claims through snow and ice control. The city will repair lawn damage on the City’s right of way as a result of snow clearing. Once repairs are completed, the resident is required to maintain the repaired area. Staff are requesting all lawn damages to be reported by May 31, 2026, so repairs can be scheduled and completed. City staff will prepare the damaged area with topsoil, and a contractor has been hired to hydroseed the damaged area.

On Bayfm with Lenny Benoit this morning, Mayor Linda Chaisson says the city will restore damaged lawns back to what they were. The Mayor says so far, they have received a lot of calls concerning lawn damage done by snow plows.
