It’s a little early yet but with the Holiday season fast approaching Corner Brook city staff is advising residents of some small changes to the annual household garbage dropoff program for after the holidays. Councillor Pam Keeping says there will be a couple of ways people can get rid of garbage. There will be six dumpster bins available at the Civic Centre parking lot on December 27th and December 28th ONLY. Keeping says new this year, the city will be paying fees at the Wild Cove dump from December 27th to January 3rd. A photo id will be required. What stays the same is 6 bags can be placed at the curb for pickup after Christmas, and tree pick up will take place January 4th to the 10th. For guidelines on acceptable items, visit www.WRWM.ca
