Corner Brook Mayor pleased new dual stream recycling is showing lower contamination

    On Bayfm with Lenny Bennoit this morning, Mayor Linda Chaisson says the goal was to lower contamination on recyclable materials and numbers are up.

    Meanwhile, it’s Paper Week as part of Corner Brook’s new dual stream recycling program. Paper and cardboard material in blue bags will be collected at the curb this week switching to cans and plastics next week. On Bayfm with Lenny Bennoit this morning, Mayor Linda Chaisson says the goal was to lower contamination on recyclable materials and numbers are up. Anyone who has not received the new garbage  collection yet can contact city hall for a copy.
