Corner Brook Mayor looking for social housing and a new nursing school in tomorrow's budget

    Jim Parsons says his main concern is social housing and there are shuttered units on Crestview Avenue in need of repair.

    The Mayor of Corner Brook is anxiously awaiting details of tomorrow’s provincial budget. Jim Parsons says his main concern is social housing and there are shuttered units on Crestview Avenue in need of repair. He says he would also like to hear funding has been allocated for a new nursing school. Finance Minister Siobhan Coady will deliver the 2024 budget speech at 2 o’clock tomorrow afternoon.
