Advance polling days will be Tuesday, September 23rd and Saturday, September 27th at the Civic Centre.
The Elections Municipal Act authorizes councils in NL to establish up to two dates for advance polling in the upcoming municipal election. At last week’s public meeting in Corner Brook, councillor Bill Griffin says advance poll dates must be held within two weeks or 14 days prior to the election.
Griffin says in 2021, the city offered two advance polling dates and both had excellent turnout. Advance polling days will be Tuesday, September 23rd and Saturday, September 27th at the Civic Centre.
