Corner Brook city hall issued 7 stop work orders in 2023

    . At last night’s meeting, council approved two offices in a light industrial zone on O’Connell Drive and Tipping’s Place. Also approved, is a three unit apartment building on Pinegrove Avenue.

    The city of Corner Brook issued seven stop work orders last year. The issue was discussed during last night’s regular council meeting. Mayor Jim Parsons says that number should be zero. He says city hall is there for developers and can also give good advice. At last night’s meeting, council approved two offices in a light industrial zone on O’Connell Drive and Tipping’s Place. Also approved, is a three unit apartment building on Pinegrove Avenue.
