A 22-year old man could be facing drug charges after a crash on Route 365 in Conne River. RCMP say it happened shortly after 5 o’clock Wednesday when a car left the road and ended up in a ditch. Police say the man, who was the driver, showed no signs of impairment, but was taken to hospital to be treated for minor injuries. From inside the vehicle, officers located quantities of cocaine, cannabis and prescription pills, as well as drug paraphernalia and other evidence consistent with drug trafficking. The investigation is continuing with drug charges anticipated.
