Cleaning Corner Brook city hall will now cost over 18 percent more

    Councillor Vaughn Granter says bids closed last week with one bid received for a 3-year Contract. Blair Holdings Limited $483.808.26 HST Included per 36-month term. 

    Costs to clean Corner Brook City hall have gone up by 18.2 percent. At Monday’s public meeting council approved a bid from Blair Holdings Ltd. It was the only bid submitted and is just under $484,000 for a three year contract, compared to slightly more than $409,000 from 2021-2024. Councillor Vaughn Granter says bids closed last week with one bid received for a 3-year Contract. Blair Holdings Limited $483.808.26 HST Included per 36-month term.  Councillor Charles Pender says  it’s expensive but there wasn’t much choice. This contract will be billed monthly at $13,439.12 (HST included)
