    City installs sharps deposit boxes throughout Corner Brook

    Talk to children about what to do if they find a needle: Never touch, and always tell an adult.

    The City of Corner Brook has installed several sharps deposit boxes throughout the community.  If you find a needle, call 709-637-1666 or contact the property owner for safe disposal. Talk to children about what to do if they find a needle: Never touch, and always tell an adult. Use tongs or puncture resistant gloves, hold the needle tip away from your body,  wash hands after disposal.  Naloxone kits are free and available across the province. You can find your nearest naloxone kit by calling 811.
