Canada Carbon Rebate is out, nearly $300 for family of 4

    The top-up for rural residents is doubled from 10% to 20%

    Check your bank account; the Canada Carbon rebate is out, and this is one of the largest ever. For a Newfoundland and Labrador family of 4 the estimated quarterly payment is about $300. The top-up for rural residents is doubled from 10% to 20%. In this province, $20.1 million will be returned to small and medium sized businesses for 2023-2024. It is 179  dollars per employee for the Canada Carbon Rebate for small businesses.
