Tomorrow is Canada Agriculture Day and Agriculture Technician students at College of the North Atlantic in Corner Brook are gearing up for an event to celebrate it and the importance of food. From 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, students and community members are invited to the atrium of the campus for an event that will highlight the dedication of Canadian farmers and the essential role agriculture plays in daily life. Attendees can explore interactive displays, take part in fun activities, and enjoy some snacks. There will also be opportunities to win prizes. One attraction will be the live animals on display, giving visitors a hands-on experience with farm life. The event is a chance to learn more about agriculture and show appreciation for those who work to put food on our tables. Guests are also encouraged to bring a non-perishable food donation for the Campus Food Pantry to be entered into a prize draw.
