The driver was handed tickets and is due to appear in Stephenville Provincial Court during July.
After getting a number of calls from the public, Burgeo RCMP caught up with a known suspended driver, who also didn’t have insurance or registration and owed over $20K in fines. Cpl Jesse O’Donaghey says they pulled the 44-year-old driver over Monday around 5 p.m. The driver was identified and police confirmed he was operating on a suspended driver’s licence. Further investigation also confirmed no insurance or registration on the vehicle and over $20,000.00 in outstanding fines.
