A jury has found Dean Penney guilty of first-degree murder in connection with the death of his estranged wife, Jennifer Hillier-Penney.
The verdict was delivered this morning in Supreme Court in Corner Brook following several days of jury deliberations.
Hillier-Penney was 38 when she disappeared from St. Anthony in December 2016. Her body has never been recovered.
