The Bay of Islands Search and Rescue group have a new rescue sled on the way, thanks to fundraising by the Western Sno Riders group. Glen Green says they set up a Go Fund Me page back in July and raised two thousand dollars over their goal. Bay of Islands Search and Rescue coordinator Shawn Street says this piece of equipment can be used all year long. There are about 50 members on the Bay of Islands Volunteer Search and Rescue.
