Berry pickers near Corner Brook safe after a night in the woods

    Both the Corner Brook and Deer Lake RCMP along with the Bay of Islands Volunteer Search and Rescue group located them shortly after 9 o’clock yesterday morning in the Logger School Road area.

    A couple of berry pickers spent the night in the woods after getting lost in a remote area in Logger School Road just outside of Corner Brook. Both the Corner Brook and Deer Lake RCMP along with the Bay of Islands Volunteer Search and Rescue group located them shortly after 9 o’clock yesterday morning. RCMP say they were in good health.
